Shortless Support
Shortless · Short-form video feed blocker for Safari
Shortless removes short-form video feeds (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Snapchat Spotlight) from Safari on iPhone and iPad, while leaving the rest of each site working normally.
Getting Started
- Open the Settings app and tap Safari.
- Under General, tap Extensions.
- Turn on both Shortless Content Blocker and Shortless Web Extension.
- When asked, tap Allow so the web extension can run on the sites it blocks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Short-form videos still show up. What should I check?
Make sure both Shortless extensions are turned on under Settings → Safari → Extensions, and that the platform is switched on inside the Shortless app. Then reload the page in Safari.
Does Shortless block the TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram apps?
No. Shortless works in Safari only. iOS does not allow content blockers to change other browsers or native apps.
Will I lose access to normal videos, photos, or messages?
No. Shortless targets only the short-form feeds. Regular YouTube videos, Instagram photos, Snapchat messages and the rest of each site keep working.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. Your platform toggles, daily block counts, onboarding answers and streak are kept locally so the Time Reclaimed dashboard and widgets can show them. Shortless has no account, no analytics and no servers, and makes no network requests. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Does Shortless cost anything?
No. There are no in-app purchases, no ads and no tracking.
