BoardBound Prep is an educational study companion for nurse practitioner students preparing for AANP and ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner board certification. It combines a curated question bank with an AI tutor that explains clinical reasoning like a real NP preceptor.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open the app and go to Settings → Restore Purchases. You can also tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall screen. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you originally used to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Manage Subscription in the app, or open your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You can cancel anytime and retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account, study history, progress data, and any AI tutor conversations from our servers. This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first through Apple to avoid continued billing.
Is the AI tutor safe to use?
The AI tutor explains answers based strictly on human-written rationales attached to each question. It does not invent clinical facts. Every response includes an educational-use disclaimer, and every response has a "Flag for Clinical Inaccuracy" button so you can report anything that seems wrong. AI tutor access requires an explicit opt-in consent screen that names Anthropic as the AI provider.
Should I enter patient information into the AI tutor?
No. Never enter personal health information (PHI) or real patient data into the AI tutor. BoardBound is for exam preparation only and is not a clinical tool.
How many questions are included?
BoardBound includes 500+ expert-verified questions covering both the AANP and ANCC FNP exam blueprints. Free-tier users can practice 30 questions per day. Paid subscribers have unlimited access to the full question bank.
What exam formats are supported?
Questions are tagged to the official exam blueprints for both AANP FNP (Assess, Diagnose, Plan, Evaluate) and ANCC FNP-BC (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation). You choose your target exam during onboarding.
